With experience and knowledge across many facets of tourism, Ilse was appointed a Young Tourism Leader in 2018.

Ilse’s tourism career spans diverse roles in food and beverage, guest services, events, restaurant management and operations management in hotels in South Africa, Lake Tahoe, the Gold Coast, Melbourne, Lizard Island, South Australia and Brisbane.
