Tammie-Lee has been in the tourism and hospitality industry for 10 years and has experience across a diverse range of exciting roles. Following high school, she initially trained as a hairdresser and beauty therapist and then made a career change to follow her interest in engaging with people from different cultures and creating memorable visitor experiences.

Tammie-Lee’s foray into tourism began as a bar supervisor, followed by a period as a travel coordinator. In 2012, she made the decision to move from Brisbane to start a new life in Tropical North Queensland where she became a Venue Manager for a bar and function venue in Townsville. Tammie-Lee then moved to The Ville Resort-Casino, a premier resort and entertainment destination, where she has moved through a range of roles including Food and Beverage Supervisor, Marketing Assistant, Guest Services Agent and Assistant Front Office Manager, leading to her current role of Reservations Agent.

Tammie-Lee is passionate about providing a positive experience for guests and leaving them with a lasting impression of their visit to Queensland.

Initially undertaking a Certificate in Hospitality, Tammie-Lee has since developed a successful career in tourism through roles in travel coordination, food and beverage, venue management, marketing, guest services and reservations. Working in tourism has provided her with the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and she is passionate about helping visitors discover the diverse experiences of Tropical North Queensland.
