Olivia has been in the tourism industry for 17 years and her career has spanned many roles including tour guiding, marketing, sales, promotion, public speaking, mentoring and business ownership.
Her tourism career began with a school based traineeship and she then started her first business focused on marketing and brand awareness when she was 19. Her next business venture was the creation of Bandana Station Sunsets, a unique cultural experience on a family cattle station bordering the Carnarvon Gorge.
Olivia is now the Director of Sandstone Park where she is forging an innovative tourism business which complements her agricultural business. This involves developing Sandstone Park as a multi-staged unique accommodation experience in Queensland’s iconic Carnarvon Gorge.
Olivia’s achievements have been recognised through numerous accolades in the Central Highlands Business Excellence Awards including winner of the Emerging Business of the Year (2015, 2017), finalist in the Tourism Award 2017, the People’s Choice Award 2017 and the Young Business Owner/Operator Award 2015.

Olivia started in the tourism industry at age 17 undertaking a Certificate III in Tourism as a school based traineeship. She has owned three tourism businesses that have led to her current role as Director for Sandstone Park where she is dedicated to developing the ultimate experience for visitors. Olivia is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with our youth.
