Kaydee started in hospitality at the age of 18 as a food and beverage attendant and has progressed her career through diverse roles in hotel properties in Australia and New Zealand.

Gaining experience across all hotel operations including housekeeping, conference and event management and food and beverage operations in properties in Perth, Dunsborough and the Margaret River in Western Australia, resulted in Kaydee being appointed Manager of the Ramada Outram Hotel in Perth. She then moved to New Zealand and spent three years as the Manager of the Ramada Resort in Wanaka which also gave her the opportunity to assist with the management of the Wyndham Denarau Island Resort in Fiji.

Kaydee is now the Area General Manager of Wyndham Gold Coast. She manages the Wyndham Resort Surfers Paradise, a 192-apartment mixed use property, in the capacity of General Manager, whilst also overseeing the operations of Wyndham’s Gold Coast portfolio including Wyndham Resort Kirra Beach and Ramada Hope Harbour.

Kaydee was nominated for the New Zealand Tourism Emerging Tourism Leader Award 2017 and New Zealand General Manager of the Year 2017.

Kaydee has gained a Diploma of Leadership and Management, Certificate IV in Hospitality, Certificate II in Human Resources and a Certificate III in Business which, combined with 13 years experience in the tourism industry, has led to her role as Wyndham’s Area General Manager of the Gold Coast. She now leads a team of over 35 and has a track record of mentoring staff who go on to earn promotion.
