Blake’s career in tourism and hospitality started soon after high school with numerous roles in food service, cafes and at a North Queensland wildlife attraction. A short spell in sales and marketing roles in a range of other businesses opened Blake’s eyes to new opportunities and experiences and the realisation that his goal was to share his knowledge, customs and stories of Indigenous culture with other people.

Blake now has an exciting career as a Sea Ranger for Dreamtime Dive & Snorkel which is a unique Great Barrier Reef cruise experience incorporating the world’s oldest living culture with some of Australia’s most amazing marine life. His role entails imparting the Great Barrier Reef creation story to guests and providing them with a deeper understanding of the connection between this diverse ecosystem and Indigenous culture and heritage.
