Ashleigh started her career in hospitality management straight out of school, but eventually started looking for a different opportunity to apply her skills in a new setting. She found a traineeship through one of Australia’s leading transport and tourism companies and was awarded the metropolitan regional and QLD trainee of the year and also a scholarship for further study. That study led to further awards as the regional and QLD vocational student of the year. Due to her hard work and passion for the industry Ashleigh has now begun a new role as the State HR Advisor for Hungry Jack's in QLD. Ashleigh is passionate about advocating for different career path for young people in the industry, recently travelling to Canberra as a mentor for the Australian Training Awards and as a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Alumni and ambassador.

As a HR Advisor for one of Australia’s leading ‘quick service restaurant’ brands, Ashleigh has come full circle. Her passion for the industry began with her first ever job and has continued through all of the diverse and exciting roles that she has had since leading to her current role at Hungry Jack's.
